This is the second edition of our online newsletter.
It includes the same content as the print version, but with more photos and updates. What it doesn’t include is the calendar, which can be accessed online by clicking on this LINK.
To access the stories, click on the artwork posted below. That will bring up the stories in a separate window. Other stories are listed after the images, click on the text to access.
We still publish a print edition in hard copy and PDF. The PDF version is sent via email to members or anyone who requests it.
A few notes about this issue. You might notice that it includes stories about events and organizations in our four-county region, organizations that, like GMAS, are dedicated to the preservation of wildlife and habitat. It’s our way of acknowledging that we have a lot in common and it’s consistent with our policy of working together with other organizations.
It’s our hope that people in this region — and beyond — take advantage of the opportunities all of us offer to experience the great outdoors and natural wonders and to learn more about them.
Speaking of which, Bobolinks at Byers Woods, is scheduled for June 27. This event, the high point of our year, draws people from around the state and beyond. Spread the word and hope to see you there.
